Phase 2 is done - and this one means a lot to us. This Laurel Park property came together with a series of terraced timber planting beds, fresh mulch, and a butterfly garden created in honor of a loved one. That kind of work carries some weight, and we didn't take it lightly.
The tiered timber framework steps down the hillside in a clean, organized way - each bed giving plants the room and structure they need to take hold and grow. A slope like this can easily become a maintenance headache or an erosion problem without the right approach. Building it out in terraced sections keeps everything in check while also giving the space a finished, intentional look.
We reached out to Renfroe Valley Farms to help us source the right plants and shrubs for the job. Getting the plant selection right matters - especially for a butterfly garden where you want species that actually attract pollinators and hold up well in this region. The mix of textures and colors already showing across the beds is a good sign of what this space will look like as everything fills in.
Every outdoor space has a story behind it. Sometimes it's purely functional - drainage issues, erosion on a steep yard, overgrown land that needs to be cleared and prepared for something new. Other times, like here, it's more personal. Either way, we bring the same level of care to the work.
If you've got a space you've been thinking about - whether it needs a full property prep or something more focused like garden beds and plantings - we're glad to talk through what that could look like.
